Beginning The Journey: Day 1

Today was the first day of OIDJ and as I walked on campus I saw these amazing pieces of equipment and met with a very welcoming staff. In the first session everyone got to know one another and we learned about blogging and how that can change the course of your journalism career. We ate delicious food and talked about what attending OU as a student was like and how they adapted to the college lifestyle. The second session was all about how social media is a better and more efficient way to reach our audience. I am excited to see what the rest of the week has in store and I expect to learn A LOT!
